Thirty-nine College of Design students received bachelor's and master's degrees at Iowa State University's December 2015 commencement exercises.

The Iowa State University College of Design's Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Approximately 2,248 students have made the Fall Semester 2015 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

A total of 972 students have been named to the Carthage College Dean's List for the Fall 2015 semester.

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Fall 2015 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team will make its second-ever trip to the Round of 16 at the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Yearly, Carthage College invites the community to celebrate the joy of the holiday season at the annual Carthage Christmas Festival, three performances of readings and music in the A. F. Siebert Chapel. These annual concerts are the College's Christmas gift to the community. Tickets to the Christmas Festival have been free since the festival began more than 20 years ago.

Our student ambassadors take prospective students and families on tours of campus. They also attend recruiting events and receptions with the admissions team. They are truly the front line of recruiting for Carthage and we couldn't survive without them.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team recorded its third Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship title in the last four years Saturday, defeating host UW-Oshkosh 1-0 in the tournament final Saturday.

Mentors help new students settle into campus

Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a spring 2015 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,880 students receiving the same honor.

Experienced Iowa State University students are serving as Peer Mentors for 2015-2016 Learning Communities. Mentors help new students make the transition to college life. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities. Coastal Carolina University welcomes its newest class of first time freshman and transfer students

SUNY Canton welcomes its newest class of first-time freshmen into its more than 40 academic programs.

The incoming group of new students comprises approximately 840 students from 19 U.S. states and five foreign countries. With an average high school GPA of 3.32, the Class of 2019 also ranks among the most successful ever.

McKendree University welcomes new students enrolled this fall at its Lebanon, Ill., Louisville and Radcliff, Ky. campuses; the Center at Scott Air Force Base, off-site locations and online.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the Spring Semester 2015 at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

A year after the best season in school history, Head Coach Ryan Quamme and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team, ranked 20th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America preseason poll, and loaded with 19 freshmen, 8 sophomores, 5 juniors and 2 seniors, will return to the field to prove they can do it again.
